Dave - I looked at the link you posted, and now we seem to be getting that colder air, although no snow yet!

Tonight 2C (35-36F) but temps below freezing forecast for next week. I've just looked outside and it is a beautiful still night with very bright clear stars. I prefer this still weather than the milder blustery type as it's less draughty!

Hoping that it's not too cold for you Dave. It's rained all day here, but is now dry with low cloud cover. A bit of a chill in the air, but fairly still and pleasant. Supposed to be sunny tomorrow across the North of England, but night-time temperatures staying low.

we're a bit chilly here, at .3C but will be warming up to "tollerable with a thick coat" later today.
the sun will be out, and the birds are already singing.

yesterday evening i saw the first stirrings of several of our neighbors out for a walk; a sure sign that Spring resolutions are being implimented.
