Yesterday was cold and drizzly turning to snow at night. We got about seven inches of wet snow and it is continuing this afternoon with the wind having picked up. If all goes well, tomorrow the groundhog will not see his shadow and we will only have two weeks of winter left. We shall see . . .

Cold but dry, and the snow looked so beautiful on the hills when I was out walking earlier. Now that the house is better insulated I'm enjoying the winter (which I prefer to summer as I can't cope with the sun).
