I've noticed a lot of interesting usernames on here, not all Biblical, but interesting nonetheless.

So, what inspired your username? :)

I'll start - Mine is actually Welsh, and it's Welsh for JesusChristDefender.

I love that!!! Very cool

I have no idea why 16 is my favorite number, I just really like it ;)

I was emailing a friend who put the name of her town and the word "gal" after it. At the time I chose my name I was in the process of changes from one place to another geographically and moving into new things. I thought "pilgrim" meaning 'one who is on a journey from one place to another' or 'a spiritual traveler' sort of fit. So I didn't put the name of a town but "pilgrimgal" instead. I put pilgrimgal and not just pilgrim so that my gender would be easily identified. Besides I think "pilgrim" was already taken. Interesting thread..thanks for starting it!

You are most welcome! :) Thanks for the applause ;) That's a cool idea, reminds me of the whole pig latin scene.. you heard of it? It's where you take the word, put the first letter at the end and put "-ay" after it. For example... forest becomes orestfay, and so on. But with vowels you don't change anything and put a "-way" at the end, so apple becomes appleway. It's confusing. ^_^

I chose Christian Widow because that is what I am.

I'm sorry to hear that, but I like how you just made your name "as-is". No confusing numbers and such... How're you doing? Praying for you all. :)

One of my favorite books of the bible is the Book of Hosea because it demonstrates so clearly God's grace given to those so undeserving of it. In Hosea 1:10 "In the place where it was said to them, 'You are not my people,' they will be called 'sons of the living God.'" Both Paul and Peter quote this verse when describing how, through Christ, the gentiles (like me) have been adopted into the family of God. In Hebrew the phrase "sons of the living God" is "beney el chi" and in its singular form i.e. "son of the living God" it is "ben el chi"
