What's the name of this band????

I can't tell you the name of the songs or much of anything about them.... however, they play on the radio a lot, seems on the alternative rock station thought I wouldn't really liken it to alternative rock. They sound brittish sounding, and I think one of the songs has something to do with the ocean meeting the sky?? I like that song and think it's the same group that sings the other song I really like, but can't quote any words from it.....

Everytime they play it on the radio, they never mention their names. I want the CD for christmas.... does anyone have any ideas?

The band is Modest Mouse, the album is Good News for People Who Love Bad News, and the song you are referring to is "The Ocean Breathes Salty". The other single that you are probably familiar with is "Float On". The album is great...IMO the best released in quite a few years.

Oh, and the band is from Washington state.
