There will be a massive shock wave around the earth when scientists finally realize that matter and energy is composed of......spirit, and all their heads explode at once. (Figuratively that is...literally would be rather messy.)

How is the idea that if A and B both contract a virus while only A is immune to it, that A will spread his genes (with the immunity) to the next generation while B will die, "magic"?
