Good idea. I set aside a pile of clothes to donate, but had forgotten about them. Mostly stuff that I bought online and washed once, but didn't fit right. Thanks for the reminder.

Although I can't vouch for what girls like, your profile picture reminds me of the actor who played Perry Mason. From what I've heard, he was popular with the ladies. There are probably lots of girls who secretly like you, just waiting for you to make the first move.

That has happened to me before. Unfortunately, I usually find out years later. It's kind of annoying to learn that the feelings were mutual, but neither party knew.

I had a really good idea the other day and I got to spend some time this afternoon researching to see if my idea is even feasible. It is. I think I have a way to do it that won't be expensive or difficult to build. This is my hope because I don't want to go through the process of applying for research funding.

It's a personal issue - research into most of the available research funding streams turns up disturbing information regarding policies, agendas, and the like. Basically, I'm saying most of the available research money out there is dirty. Soiled. No thanks. Also, if you get a grant approved, you're pretty much locked into doing what you said you'd do in the grant, and you don't have much wiggle room. Self-financed, I can go any direction the data takes me and I am beholden to none.

She stared at me, looking through me...then she blinked. Once.

I'd wager that she doesn't care.

I rejoined Facebook so I could access the Marketplace and sell off a bunch of stuff in my garage.

I feel dirty. I feel unclean.

Thank you all for your replies to my comments! I have just been struggling a little recently, that's all. I really like this thread because I have an opportunity to express how I am truly feeling so that it is no longer on my chest which is definitely always a good thing, in my opinion.
