I've tried kale, but I'd rather eat collards. Better taste, imo. I wouldn't know what to do with swiss chard. Soup?
My opinion, most (not all) labor intensive activities can be done with the right pace. A slow, steady pace gets more done than one that is frantic. Of course, that's coming from someone in the south, which is often hot. I imagine in a colder climate frantic work has it's advantages, lol.
Vidalia onions. Is there another kind? You can eat a Vidalia like an apple. So, so good.
A production farm has a faster pace and the same applies for the program.
Asheville.
Production or self-subsisting. Are you trying to farm for profit or to sustain a particular lifestyle. Both are hard word, but one is less forgiving than the other.
Asheville, NC? That place is hopping with artists, artisans, and the like. Land is probably pricey, but worth it if you can acquire a piece. A friend of mine who plays the Hammered Dulcimer, Joshua Messick, lived and flourished there for some time. He's moved to Boulder, CO. Covid really shut down musicians.
Self-subsistence. I gained experience on a production farm. We have an eco-friendly slow living lifestyle. That’s an endless rabbit hole. There’s always something to learn, tweak, change, etc. We move a little further every year.
I don’t know if I’d live there but I’m aware of the community. I started down this road long ago. There’s a few local classes on my to do list.
Wow he’s good! I love musicians. Is he single?
Lol! No ma'am, he's happily settled. She plays the harp! They play together (I guess that goes without saying). I suppose I should have said they moved to Boulder,CO.
How cute!
You can’t blame me for asking. When opportunity knocks you’ve gotta answer. *lol*
Of course! I would not look sideways at you for that. I think Asheville is a fine place to put down roots.
In my neck of the woods, I'm looking at Floyd Virginia. They have a very similar scene. And, there's FloydFest....
I need to be settled first. I don’t want to start something and uproot myself. A lot will depend on the state of things when I return. I hope it’s peaceful.
That’s a nice event! Food + music. You’re a tempting hermit. It feels like the sort of place you’d really thrive. I could see you there. *nudging*
Initially, I did not feel like it went great. I couldn't decide if it was good or bad, so I figured that probably meant it had gone poorly. That was back on Thursday.@mojoboy31 How did the interview go?

Today, the Market Manager showed up at my office, and offered me the position. I was *just* coming here to tell yall, so thanks for asking. haha.
It's depressing. It makes me want to give up... Ah, another Singles first-timer "Ah need a man/woman but I don't like 'em because I'm not getting any dates from them right now!" complaint thread graces us.
It's depressing. It makes me want to give up
Well, it is depressing. I'm gonna stay out of that thread for a bit.Nah, you're joshing! *pelts you with a pillow* Shush!

You're good at knowing what type attracts why type. So if I wanted traditional woman, what would I have to be like? What do they look for?
It makes me want to give up
