In that statement you affirm God’s goodness, faithfulness, and timing. You should study spiritual warfare. It would help you combat the negative emotions effectively.

Sometimes the bad wins. For a few years after college, it won. I felt so hopeless. I blamed it all on God. I thought "I've been going to churches & church groups for so long, & I don't get one lousy date out of it?" I still went to church, I still read the Bible, I still believed God had a plan for humanity of salvation, I still liked learning about apologetics & theology & all that, but yep: I was ineffective. It wasn't evident.Consider my recent response in light of this on the other thread. Your suffering may have a greater purpose than you realize.
Either way, your commitment to God is evident. I see it and so does satan. He goes for the jugular in areas of weakness. If he can’t get you to renounce God he tries to make you ineffective.
Keeping your mind centered on dating woes distracts you from bigger things. And that’s the point. If you’ve never read Battlefield of the Mind you should.
I don't use a trainer. I use mix of machines & free to keep me stop getting bored from one or the other.Hello there,
do you work with a trainer or do you just do moves on your own? Also are you a dumbbell guy or machines?
I actually love strength training. Never thought I’d love weights so much. I can give you some ideas to target your legs specifically. My own humble opinion, most guys I have worked with individually and in classes tend to focus more on upper body where the gains and muscle definition happen much quicker. Legs take time because those are the largest muscle groups in the body and targeting the smaller groups within those muscle groups takes patience but also understanding of complex movements.
My preference is using dumbbells and even a stand alone barbell. It causes more more resistance on the muscle and causes you to have to engage other muscle groups for support and balance. More bang for your buck!
Also, when targeting muscles you want to really make sure your protein levels are good, water intake is high, and you are getting a solid stretch in. Stretching before is great but after your workout is key. Tight muscle doesn’t equal strong muscle.

You’re probably better than you think. How many servings do you get from the meals? It’s a really neat idea. I’ve never tried it.

As for being better than I think ... well ... I DID only cut myself once in the two years or so I've relied on these occasional deliveries from Blue Apron or Hello Fresh, so .... That's something, I guess.
