  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Ugh... more protesters. This lot are animal rights activists screaming in front of Canada Goose. I wish they’d go home.

Chicago – Tomorrow, a pack of PETA protesters wearing fake Canada Goose coats will cry out in anguish as they lie in pools of “blood” outside the company’s downtown store to show passersby how geese and coyotes suffer for the retailer’s fur-and-feather jackets.

Similarity in style helps. Aerosmith and Run DMC did a good job with Walk This Way. Cross appeal is another factor. Estelle and Kanye were a perfect fit for American Boy (2008). I didn't listen to his music but his tracks have a timeless factor because he mixes them himself.

I must admit...

John Lennon and Tupac would have made for an insane collab. It's NOT widely known, but I've always been an admirer of Pac.

I'm not sure about the sound - but from a lyrical standpoint, it would have been like something from another universe. Two great minds that sadly never got to meet.

Going through my lyric folders is eye opening. There's a lot of metal. Some situations required it. Do you like gothic metal? Dark Sanctuary is good.

I listen to goth metal sometimes, although not really my thing. I like the more raw and less produced sound of black metal.

Although after listening to it so many years it does get somewhat boring. It's great music for a teenage boy, but after a while it gets a little much. Lol.
