  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

lol when i was a student, the nurse who preceptored me fancied pulling pranks at me all the time he gets a chance...
such as hiding all the styrofoam cups the patients use and placing them on high to hard to reach places, or one time telling me that a Mr. La, called and was looking for me and wanted me to call back and whose first name was Gori. lol, he pulled that prank on another nurse, who fell for it, dialed the number, and asked, "I'm returning a call from a Mister La? First name is Gori???" Lol the person on the other end replied, "ummm this is the Honolulu zoo..." Bahahaha!

Man, work has been brutal, lol. With no signs of letting up. :/

My main problem is that if there's work to do, I will keep doing it - including taking it home with me or coming in on other shifts if needed. But its starting to get pretty overwhelming.

Not to mention that one of the main guys in my department is retiring... so I'll be inheriting all of his stuff. We'll be getting 2 new contract engineers to replace him next week, so maybe things will begin to improve, but I doubt it. They're going to be coming in with no knowledge of our systems, and no one really has the time to train them, so they'll be getting all the menial tasks. (Which is fine, as long as they have a good work ethic and can get things done). And we'll be getting 2 new interns tomorrow - but if history is any indicator, they'll get so many tasks from the managers that they will have no room to do anything for me.

I just need to stop stressing myself out, I guess... but that is sometimes easier said than done.

since my knee is swollen and I have a ganglion cyst,than next day I gotta get up early and have an ekg to check my heart since im on pills like ritalin.

will pray that there be no complications and fast healing, and MD will have wisdom on proper effective treatment, also that ekg will be normal rhythm and rate and thay your heart will be protected from any negative side effects caused by meds

I'm not even very good at keeping in contact with family anymore, even though I really want to be, so I am afraid to start conversations with people because I somehow always drift away a bit, and I know it's not fair to others. :/ I wish I could be there for others more.

This is Crystal, named for the crystalline beads on her necklace. You might not be able to tell from the photo, but the white fabric on her ears, spots, and tail has gold glitter in it!



Also seems like our old camera isn't going to last much longer because it's been acting strangely, but it certainly did its job. Thankfully we have a backup camera!
