Life was pretty boring back then.. you can get glimpse of how bored people are by listening to recordings from hundreds or thousands of years ago. It wasn't until Edison that humanity invented sound recording.. but accidental recordings appear everywhere. For example when someone makes pottery they also talk with their friends and the sound waves are recorded on the prints from the pottery. With modern computers you can pick up these accidental recordings.. and it's fun to listen to them.. most of them are about people talking about how bored they are because there is nothing to do.
Sadly it's hard to listen to stuff beyond the 1600s.. because before that.. even you don't have modern English so you can't understand what they're saying.. besides sub-titles.
what. is that a real thing, sounds far-fetched.
there was still plenty of things to read by 1918, at least concerning religion and some philosophy.
Yeah, it's real. Recording sound can be pretty simple. Not the greatest, but you can listen to some brief conversations.
myth busters say they busted it. did other people disprove them?
They didn't bust anything.
I know politically correct people don't like it, because it reveals some ugly truths. Guess some have an agenda to deny these recordings.
what should I youtube so I can hear them?
But then they didn’t have Twilight or Fifty Shades... so the average quality of their literature just shot way up!I don't think they had very many good books back then.
Yeah.. in 1918 they had Venus In Furs and other cheesy romance novels. But then they didn’t have Twilight or Fifty Shades... so the average quality of their literature just shot way up!
