I agree with RayOfSun. I enjoy your company and your sweet and agreeable personality. I don't see any reason for users on CF to reject you because you do absolutely nothing to stir up trouble or add negativity to the site. Just nothing but a willingness to be part of an online community in a very positive and mild mannered way.

My friend Marina has asked for my assistance with her schooling in mathematics. I considered myself quite adept at algebra and the like back then, but twelve years has gone by since my last math class and it seems to me that really only teachers of mathematics and guys who work at NASA would still practice this particular field of knowledge often enough in their jobs to be of much use in tutoring others on it after twelve years without studying, you know?

Luckily she has sent me an example of the kind of work she is having to do right now for class and I do not believe I am TOTALLY stumped by it, so perhaps there is a thing or two I might be able to show or explain to help her understand what she is learning just a little better. You know a primary mantra of Sarah's Knight: Anything for a lady.

So please pray that if I can be an asset at all to Marina in this, that i will be given the wisdom to explain something clearly in such a way as to help her understand and perform better. But if I cannot - if I really can't recall enough of my own knowledge or be able to teach in a meaningful way that will help but instead possibly only hinder her and make things worse - that I will also have the wisdom to realize it in time and politely back away, praying instead that God gives her the help she needs in some other way.

This is the same Marina, the lovely Hispanic gal, who was so gracious as to be willing to be the first and so far only girl I ever went out on a date with, remember, so of course I do wish to be able to give something back to her. But again, if I end up finding that I honestly cannot help her in her studies, please pray for Marina's sake that God will provide her another way.

A female colleague asked me what colour I thought something was that had been delivered to her. It turned to be fairly obvious that it wasn't the colour she was expecting, but I did point out the foolishness of asking a man to weigh in on something colour-related.

Very emotional exit from my old job...I cried twice while hugging and giving hand shakes to friends and coworkers. Some of them bought me cakes and chocolate as parting gifts. I'm gonna miss them so much...I'll still be shopping there, but I'm gonna miss being on the inside and working with them. They've been my family for the past 5+ years....

But alas...a new chapter in my life begins. I recently set up a little "office" space in my living room, got my badge & in-town parking permit, and a new (used) tablet for work and reading on the go. After a few paychecks, I should be getting the hang of a new budget plan...and after figuring out the new schedule, I'll be back to life and hanging with friends.

Despite any setbacks, frustrations, and anxiety issues, I'm looking forward to the future and what may come of it.

Come at me, bro.
