Actually that was a point I should have raised before. Academically speaking, I actually think the public high school I was at for the first half of my freshman year (before transferring to the Christian private school) was superior to the Christian school. Go figure, huh?

That seems to be one of very few things in everyday life that gets to me. When people - especially kids - are just overbearing and loud in restaurants. Or I overhear them being rude to their waiters/waitresses.

When you have your own kids! Be understanding they are kids

Well, don't get me wrong. I am sure having children would bring far greater joy overall than burdensome times. We shall see if the Lord has such a thing in store for me. But honestly, so far it appears that He tells me they are not meant for me. But I may be wrong, or perhaps He will see fit to change things in the future. It is hard to imagine finding a girl who would marry me yet be totally fine with not ever having children, though, so if children are not meant for me, then I had probably best prepare to never be married as well.

I feel like I am one of those guys who will be content either way it turns out. Married with no kids ever, married with children (God help you all if a little SK - boy or girl - ever sets foot into this world, though ), or entirely single all of my life. I am sure I will find inner peace with any of the above possibilities. There are advantages and blessings to each one.

Took my little princess Daisy to the vet this morning...poor girl, she did NOT like the car ride over. She looked like she had aged a year just from a 15 min car ride.

I'll be picking her up real soon...wonder how old she'll look now....

That was an epic game last night; I was up anyway and decided to watch the whole thing. I never expected us to actually beat Canada in hockey, I guess miracles do happen.

The really cool thing is that it happened 38 years to the day of the Miracle on Ice.

^ Only I wouldn't call it a miracle necessarily. I think the U.S. was actually favored the win the gold this year, it's just that Canada has had their number in the Olympics the past couple of decades. And of course this year they were pretty much evenly matched.
