Just finished the movie. The world building of this movie raises more questions than it answers. I heard they're already working on a sequel so this might go somewhere if they can drop the social commentary.

Nope not yet! I didn't mean tonight, but in the near future if we can get everyone's schedule together. I know there are several people with Steam and AOE and we keep talking about playing, but never do. I think it would be a lot of fun!

Well you can’t go wrong with the Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy movies. They’re all pretty darn good except Thor 2 and Iron Man 2... and from what I recall the Hulk movie was rather weak too.

I'm in one of those moods...and it's really annoying...'cause I just feel all sorts of feels and then I end up feeling emotionally and mentally drained...and at that point, I'm just thinking the world can go blow a horn, 'cause I'm so done....

Also...it sucks when people wanna chat with me via text/msger, but I'm busy so I can't sit down and have a full convo with them...and then they're just like 'okay, bye!' and I'm like 'WAIT!!! You're the first person who's contacted me in 3 weeks*!!! COME BAAAAAACK!!!!!!!'

(*mild exaggeration...but kinda true...my phone doesn't sing to me as much as it did before and that makes me sad)

The Mist on Netflix......



I've seen some bad movies/shows before but wow........ a new level of bad. i cant believe I watched the whole long thing cause I liked the book many many years ago but.... wow.... that series aspires to horrible.

I've seen some bad movies/shows before but wow........ a new level of bad. i cant believe I watched the whole long thing cause I liked the book many many years ago but.... wow.... that series aspires to horrible.

Is that the one where Thomas Jane finds himself holed up in a general store with maybe thirty other people while B-horror movie monsters roam around unchecked in the mist that suddenly springs up all around outside? And half the crew of humans inside eventually go crazy with fear and form a religious cult based around the notion that the monsters in the mist is God's divine punishment?


... Yeah, it sucked.

... Yeah, it sucked.

That was the movie version.....as bad as that was........ the series was soooooo much worse.

The movie was like a cinematic masterpiece in comparison to the dumpster fire that was the series. I only kept watching cause I thought..... maybe... just maybe it would get better........ it just got worse... much.... much worse.

Oh well..... back to my watching Blue Bloods while I try to be patient for a new Jesse Stone.....

I did like the Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy movies as well. I also liked Thor 2 and Iron Man 2. I disliked Captain America 2 though.

I often have a game night with friends or family. Board games and snacks are pretty fun.
Maybe your family could play some games to make staying home more enjoyable.
I am an introvert so I prefer staying home. Also, it's warmer and safer at home.
