After listening to Fred Hammond's Bread of Heaven, I think some inspiration is brewing for another written piece involving Christ as a carpenter. We'll see what comes out of it.

Woke up this morning with some anxieties weighing heavily on my heart and even had a good cry and talked it out with God. I feel a bit better now, but the day is not over yet.

I just ask for prayers that God would keep me strong and that I would not stumble today.

Visited a Methodist service for the first time. Pleasant experience. Reverend went to the entrance/exit after service and greeted everyone on the way out. Made me feel welcome.

I feel the same way. I get this way around my birthday but usually it's closer, not two months away.

Eh, I guess 30s isn't so old. I'm a few years younger yet only a few. What scares me is that before I know it, I'll already be 40. That's only about 13 years away. 2004 was 13 years ago, and that feels so recent.

No, it's not really old, but.. It's like I've done nothing at all, and every year I get depressed about the same things and it's like i haven't changed at all. And I agree, what scares me is I'll be that age as well still feeling the same way.
