Tattoos are my passion. I love everything about them and I'm always planning out my next one.

It's all about what they mean to YOU. It's not about vanity. Only the ones who truly understand tattoos will know what I'm talking about.

I wanted tattoos since I first saw them when I was about 8 years old (back then society deemed "only trash have tattoos" so when I wanted to have them it wasn't cause it was "the cool thing" I got them when I was 18- early 20's and aside from being Christian and the "not marking your flesh" I don't regret them for the very reason you said. They mean something to me. My first tattoo was a permanent reminder to never become an alcoholic (I was a heavy drinker at the time and it runs in my family)

I also have a dragon tattoo breathing flames perching on a sword. I had planned on getting my wife and kids names under it as in I am the protector. I marked and inked myself but it all has meaning. Not a drunken bad idea or trend.

Aside from the Bible speaking against marking the body..... no regrets at all. If someone gets a tatt saying "who let the dogs out" or "Vanilla Ice 4eva!" Yeah, they will likely be undergoing painful and expensive removal process.

I'm more in the disadvantage group. In spite of this, I have actually made attempts to help those even more disadvantaged than I am with mixed results. Maybe certain Christians can stop acting like they're self made and humble themselves with the fact that their talents, intelligence, wealth, health, and environment were by the grace of God and that they were entrusted with greater responsibilities instead of thinking that they are 'rewarded' for the faith they think they have.

I am glad he is out of Houston though..... mixed feelings on Watson. I like the potential, not happy with the price, given the odds of a first round pick being bust are higher than not. Hopefully this time next season I wont miss the 1 and 2nd it cost to get him. Im torn between wanting him to start to see how he does at the new level..... and sitting him a couple seasons to prep.

Either way, official starter from day one, or back up to Savage.... I say given Savage has yet to NOT get injured in a season, I gotta guess we see him start this season one way or another.

I wasn't a fan at all at first, but seeing some of the other moves warmed me up to the first pick.

It's more the "micro-aggressions" and SJW terminology like "reverse racism" in the show that annoy me.

Where white people *most often just white men* have to be super self reflective and apologize for everything, and everyone else can just act as rude and self centered as they like.

I remember from the age of 5 covering myself in those temporary tattoos that you'd get in those sticks of bubblegum. I caught the bug early too.

I don't agree with the marking of the body argument when 9 out of 10 reverends and deacons cut themselves shaving everyday. Plus, the level of skill in an artists hand is a gift from God if there ever was one. My artist is on another level. Just so so gifted. His work will honestly give you goosebumps.

I don't know that I'd get name tattoos though... I'd use symbols or images instead. Though that said, in the rocks of my lighthouse tattoo I do have Habakkuk in small script.

I tend to avoid talking about my passion for ink on here too much. Many Christians have an axe to grind over it and I just don't want to listen. You'll never change my mind.

I now regret the tattoo of the name "Id" in cursive on my upper arm fourteen years ago. (Id was a character from a popular Squaresoft game back in the late 90's called Xenogears, called so because he was the angry, violent dark half of the game's protagonist that would manifest himself whenever the protagonist in his normal personality would suffer sudden emotional trauma.) Indeed a foolish thing, as it was mostly on a dare and the promise of 100 dollars from my friends if I had the guts to do it. For some reason, I liked the nickname "Id" that they had all given me at the location of my first ever job at a sandwich deli called La Bella's, and also as a broke college student apparently 100 dollars felt worth the life-permanent marking on my idiot 18 year-old body.

I have always heard that not only is the removal of a tattoo often several times more costly than having gotten it in the first place, but that it is still ever so slightly visible if you look closely enough. I wonder if, should I ever go through with removal and you can still easily see the trace of the previous tattoo, I might as well just have the initials S and K in cursive placed over the original so that it will be more of a fitting replacement, and a bearing I like to think I would take a lot more pride in over the name "Id". I am definitely no longer that man, Id, which I was - however jokingly - called so by my friends at my first job because I unleashed holy hell on one of them one night. And I played up the role of a self-serving take-over-the-world kind of villain to them at the time, which vaguely resembled the character of Id from Xenogears. Now it is different. I am Sarah's Knight, and I have been so for over a decade, now, and I refuse to ever come to regret being that man. As I rather sincerely regret ever playing the role of Id.
