I can't stand JK Rowling's tweets.


Especially when Buzzfeed likes to hype them up and act like she just destroys everyone with her amazing "wit".

As a kid who never grew up with Harry Potter I guess I have no reason to be fond of her, especially when she seems to be an SJW hero.

I got a frantic phone call from my mom this evening saying that my dad had been admitted to hospital. I don't actually know what was wrong with him, and I'm not sure if they do either, but they pumped him full of fluids and he's doing much better, and he's going to stay there for the weekend.

Once visiting hours were over, when I got back to where I'd parked my car, I discovered that it was no longer there. Not knowing the hospital all that well, and perhaps not thinking clearly at the time, I didn't park in the main parking lot, but rather in a demarcated parking area a little bit away from everything. Apparently they have had problems with cars being broken into there in the past, and now they have a problem with a car being stolen, namely mine.

Dang, Citanul. I am sorry to hear that. Not just @mojoboy31 's father but yours as well, now. I will pray for you both and your fathers.

We now own a 14 pound Flemish Giant rabbit and it's making for a nice housepet. It's surpassed our dog's popularity to say the least.

Today has been and continues to be simply lovely.
I can't describe it any other way.

The past few weeks have been so stressful and I've been on edge, but finally I just sighed relief and am letting go. The stress is still there, but the snow is melting, the day is beautiful and I am at peace.

I hope everyone else is enjoying their Friday!

Oh ya... rub it in that your snows melting We just got like 50cm+ here.

Thanks. Apparenltly there's a 24-hour bug doing the rounds, so our best guess is that it's that. My parents had been out visiting friends somewhere where it's quite hot at the moment, so it's possible that he was a bit dehydrated without realising it, which exacerbated things.

I assume you've reported the licence plate as stolen?

I have. The police came around and took the licence number which they were going to circulate so that they could be on the lookout for it (not that I have any hope there). I do still need to go to the police station and give them all the car's details so that I can get a case number, which I'll need for insurance purposes.

There's no possibility of your car having been towed somewhere, is there?

Sadly, no. Security weren't a great deal of help (although to be fair, cars being stolen is probably not something they deal with all too often), but I'm pretty sure they would have told me if that was the case.

They did go through the camera footage they had, and it showed me arriving, and about half an hour later, what could have been my car drives past. But it was just the single camera, and they didn't have one located where my car was parked, so all that reviewing the footage really did was narrow down the timeframe, which probably isn't going to be of much use.

I'm getting very bored of the predictability of the news now.

Opening line: "Donald Trump has w....." and so on and so forth

Honestly, news isn't news if it's always the same thing every day.

Meanwhile, ISIS are enjoying our false sense of security whilst we distract ourselves with nonsense.
