It was a good movie. Since they plan on making an extended universe, they got some stiff competition with Marvel. The Marvel movies keep getting positive reviews while the DC movies are only getting mixed at best. My guess is that the DC movies are darker and grittier while the Marvel movies have some lighthearted comic relief.

Zack Snyder angered a certain end of the political spectrum that runs critical venues. They'll flame his movies until the end of time. Meanwhile Marvel continues to pander to a certain end of the political spectrum, receiving endless praise as a result.

Going for my morning walk and pass the spot where the homeless woman's tent normally is on a little side road that's out of the way of most foot traffic... and see it's been burnt down. Spoke to someone else in the village and they said it wasn't an accident and that people had burnt it down.

To top off a crappy feeling, on my way home I see some guy bail out of a taxi and run off without paying.

What the heck is wrong with people?

It didn't. It was history. Just inconvenient history to one side of the political spectrum. Then Man of Steel modeled Krypton after a strict communist style regime that had beurocratic leaders too inept to save their race through space exploration (right after Obama cut funding to NASA), and even included a plot line of them using strict breeding controls, and people being born into roles to serve the Government. And Jor-El, a rebel who wishes to save his people by having a son and sending him somewhere where he will be free to make his own choices-- believing that with that freedom he will strive for something greater than society intended for him.

Similar thing happened in my city, except the homeless man was inside when they burned it.

Both murderers received life. People are evil.

Crazy world, I see more evil come from people who claim to have authority than I do from the average citizen. Everybody is filled with hate now days. We live in a time where the people morals are at an all time low and it is not just the average citizen but it is the cops, the judges, the attorneys, the average public servant, even our politicians are at an all time low. Our cops want to murder, our judges want to do as they want and not want the law requires, our attorney's drink too much and do not work hard on clients cases and they make bad deals, our choices for president are so low that I don't see why anybody would want to vote. I cant wait until the return of Jesus so we can start over.

Well, my back may never be well but that doesn't mean the rest of me can't be. I am hoping that the better my over all health is the easier it will be for me to deal with my back. It won't fix what is wrong but hopefully it will help.

I walk, I do some light strength training (have to be very careful with this because of my back), and I do stretches and exercises to help strengthen my core muscles.

I love walking. I like to wait until late evening when it is coolest and then go for a couple of miles walk. It just lets you get out and see things and relax without having to deal with others but even if I have a partner to walk with I find that they are easiest to get along with while walking because it is so relaxing.

I wanted to go swimming today but decided to just play lazy today but I also like to swim as that is relaxing and very good for you while at the same time easy on your joints.

Yeahhhh. Sorry, Miss Ariel. But take no personal offense; I find literally 95% of the anime I have seen to be pretty bad if not insanely awful, anyway. But that which I do like, I highly treasure and will watch on occasion to the day I die, I am sure.

Totally agree. People hate on the movie without justification. I loved it. And the fight in the warehouse at the end was one of the best fight scenes in like twenty years.
