Agreed, God allows trials so our faith will grow and we will thus be closer to Him as a result.

Why would God pull all believers out of the world causing them to miss a time of hardships and trials that would draw believers closer still? Even those closest to Him had to face many hardships and even face beheading..... but He is suddenly going to pull believers out so we can miss the hardships? I dont buy it.

Actually I literally just found a verse in Revelations that says he will come as a thief in the night then.

Revelation 16:15

Oh I wasn't debating anything. Just a friendly disagreement in that sort of thing. Just stating that I didn't find anything Biblical about it.

Thats in regard to his return. Meaning that you do not know when a burglar (Thief) is going to come and pay you a visit.


His return will NOT be a secret as all eyes will be on Him when He returns as He left...... the "secret" is what day of His return/

I feel like it will. So many people leaving Christ now especially since evolution deception is in full force. Rights slowly being took away, etc.

Who knows, He very well could come back in our life time. Just don't know when, like the thief comment/example. Though, I do see what's going on in this world and every day it gets worse and worse. It will be like the days of Noah. A storm indeed! That is scary!

Not for me to worry about.

Its more important to just do as instructed and let God worry about the time of His return. Jesus was questioned about when He would return and He said only the father knows. If Jesus didn't know the date of His return... there is no way that I or any man or woman will figure it out until we are on our face when He returns.

I try to worry more about my relation to Christ than what day He returns.

If I focus on the relationship..... it doesn't matter if 10 days, 10 years. I could be gone in 10 minutes.... in which its far more important to spend my time focused on loving Him and working on growing closer to Him than worrying about how much closer we are to His return.

Im FAR from perfect and never will be..... however.... its easy to lose focus on what matters with the trivial things such as "when".... but those are distractions that take our attention away from energy that could equally have been spent asking "What will you have me do?" rather than "When are you returning?"

I'm bloody pumped for the return of the king, ever since I was 13 to be precise.. I am becoming increasingly disillusioned with life and the longer I stay alive, the more convinced I am that humans are naturally evil.

After the rapture happens and I'm in my new home, I'm going to turn on the television and watch the tribulation happen in live stream while guzzling can after can of Vanilla Coke and devouring bags of salt and vinegar chips. I will finally see justice happen to the very people who made my life a living Hell. What more of a retribution can I ask for?
