CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Yikes! God bless you for the rescue!
I remember I had to call 911 twice when I lived with my dad. There a guy drunk out of his mind trying to kick down a wooden gate across the street from my house. Then he slipped and fell, cursed, got back up and staggered his way around the block. I'm pretty sure the police caught him, though I didn't see.
The other call was for loitering with a vehicle and being super loud in the dead of night.
Nothing like actually saving someone, that's pretty cool!

I decided to not drink coffee or any other caffeine laden drink this morning. I almost did at breakfast but decided against it. Shocking, I know, but the sad thing is I want coffee so bad right now.... 
I clearly have a problem.

... Well, the one temp agency I bothered to go 40 minutes (and through four blasted toll roads, might I add) south from my house last Friday to inquire after a lab assignment I saw posted at Indeed has yet to bother to get back with me even after I tried following up twice.So, now I move on to trying to find work suitable for my chemistry-oriented genius ^-^ at Staffing Solutions just down the road today. Please pray for me that I achieve something positive towards the end of getting back into the lab analyst workforce through my efforts today. And also that this time, it will be the kind of environment seemingly more suited to me, my personal skills, and my particular tolerances for stress in my new job, unlike my last one working for a pharmaceutical giant.

@Swan7 - When I lived in CO, I had to call for loud loiterers also. Not fun.
@dreaminofireland - Unffff, good luck on the no coffee thing! Hang in there. And maybe find a good tasting decaff if you miss the flavor too much.

But if you can find an all natural organic decaff. Ooooh, it tastes great.

Pretty good song. I know what you mean about being resistant, but really there are some very talented musicians and song writers in the country music scene.I am resistant to country music, but I gotta admit I like this song.

I suppose so, but I really don't come across many country songs that I actually like...... I generally find myself drawn to the ladies that listen to country more than I find myself ever actually wanting to hear it.
