CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

It really is. I love it in here, now. I was dating different people throughout this year and my grandma dying...I had not been on as much ...but, taking a break from dating now...it's nice to hang out with all of you.

I'm sorry to hear about your Grandma. My Dad passed in April. It's been a hard year it seems for a lot of people. But I enjoy being back here and I feel so welcomed.

Not very active? You must have missed the politics and news sections then, because they be crazy over there. Any story that begins to make left or right look bad, even potentially, and the opposite side will jump on it like white on rice.

I don't post in the news sections myself, since I'm not an extremist for either side, and I don't want to get caught up in the ****storms that often go down (I already learned my lesson from the theology sections when I first came here to CF last here year, after some dude obsessed with proving the eternal torment theology started following me around like that static group of the same three monster species that continuously assaults you at Thunder Plains in Final Fantasy X - props to whoever understands my reference ^-^ ), but I check the topics out anyway for some reason, in some weird fascination to try to understand both sides better from their perspectives on any event that gets posted, like that time a few years ago I spent trying to figure out the story of Parasite Eve 3 even though I knew in my heart I was stupid for doing it.

Swan, if you refer to the third as being Parasite Eve 3, please, I beg you, don't do it. I'm actually barely being facetious here. It's bad. Literally, revoltingly bad. It's honestly the worst betrayal to any established fictional series I have ever seen. And I wasn't even that much of a fan of the first two Parasite Eve in the first place.
