The answer is a simple one. They were boxed for so long because I've had to move twice since graduation. It's not how I wanted it or what I intended but it is what happened. I had intended to stay in the city I went to seminary in but the Lord had other plans. Thus the reason they were so long imprisoned. I've been living out of suit cases for the last three months alone. So finally being out of boxes is no small thing to me. You should free your books! If you really do not want them then take them to a bookshop willing to purchase used books.
Ah, I see. I lived out of a suitcase for about 2 weeks during my last move, so I know the feeling. I never thought I would be so happy to find a place to do laundry.
Hehe... my books, yeah - I should build a nice bookcase, if I ever find the time. I've got a cheap one, but its ugly and stays in the closet most of the time, as sort of a utility shelf.
