Awww, thank you Owly. They didnt make me sleepy, but kittens always make me smiley.

I posted muh new kitty friends I met today in the share a picture thread. I hated leaving them behind.

Awww. So cute. I'd feel bad about leaving them behind too.

Sometimes I have the hardest time falling back asleep too. Though for me, instead of waking up shortly after I fall asleep, I'll wake up about an hour before I need to wake up, and not be able to fall back asleep then. So annoying.

Yeah, Im not very strong with leaving animals behind. When I DO get a kitty from the shelter I am going to have to do most if not all of the work online or over the phone so all I have to do is go pick up the kitty. If not, I will probably come home with all of them. I want all of them to have good homes so that part of me says "Take them all". Even though my mind says "You can't afford to do that."

Yeah, I do that too. But my stomach is uncomfortable..... I suspect either the summer humidity vs my AC (which the AC is losing) or the discomfort (Not hurting, but on edge) is why I am currently awake.

I know. It's hard to see animals living in shelters like that. It kind of reminds me of those commercials where they show sad dogs and cats peering up at cages and ask for donations. Those are sooooo sad.

Yes, even though I always make jokes about them. When something sad happens I always say "Wheres Sarah McLaughlin singing when you need it?"

Yep, kitties are my weakness as far as going full on girly. My stomach is my Achilles heel as far as physical weakness. I can be burnt, beaten, broken..... I keep going. Stomach is about the only thing that can sideline me. I obviously inherited my mothers weak stomach instead of my fathers iron stomach. I can eat cheese and crackers and double over in pain..... eat something spicy and be fine. It makes no sense.

It's one of the reasons I am a picky eater and stick with a norm. I stepped outside my norm today simply eating a chicken sandwich.

Nope, simply me saying "its worth it" some times its a mistake, others not. But something plain like cheese and crackers is almost without fail.

Its probably because I grew up in the South so spicy is just how food is.... so my stomach has built up a tolerance.

My dad on the other hand can eat anything, mix and match foods and is fine. Me, I go too far outside what my stomach "expects" and it makes me regret. So, I don't really eat if I go somewhere outside my norm. I go to someones hosue and they offer food, I politely decline. Some times I break my normal rule so as not to seem rude, but in general...... I say No thank you. My pickiness comes from pain, not "I wont like it". Although veggie pickiness IS based on taste.

I wish I could legitimately claim the tube strike would prevent me from getting into work, and therefore I definitely should work from home. Nothing worse than playing sardines on the bus.

What kind of photography do you do?

I am a hobbyist more than anything else but I photograph almost anything. I went to help a friend out, who is just starting her professional photography career, and agreed to edit the photos. Editing can be a lot of fun but it can also be time consuming. The end product is usually worth it though.

Thats my thoughts exactly, there is NO WAY I would ever be happy working outside. Fine in the cooler month, but misery and nothing but misery the other 11.

The money is good, but I am not an outdoors work bull. Anywhere else Id love it, but here..... nuh huh.

I love AC, but still love(d) working outside. It just made getting home and sitting in the AC that much sweeter. Although... Wisconsin does have its share of hot/humid days, but Texas might be a little too much. Heat indices above 102 do tend to wear a person down fairly quickly...
