  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

What's on your mind?

Well, the Beast equivalent in this book doesn't kidnap the Beauty against her will or anything, does he?

No, but she is to marry him (betrothed).

Lol! Thanks, but I don't wanna read about games/movies. :p

And I think I found my book!
RA Salvatore wrote an RPG game called Amalur: Reckoning. Look it up, the game is fantastic.

So we're running my dad to the ER. He's got a terrible pain in his hip. He didn't want to go but my mom was scared so we're taking him. Prayers appreciated.

Yeah, I know about the game and it didn't get good reviews.

God brought me through it, ma'am, in the time that He intended to, apparently when He thought it was time to take me to the next level of personal faith and any more suffering through it would bear little point.

But while I speak of the ordeal lightly now that I am past it, make no mistake, I really did feel like I was losing my mind sometimes through this great trial. I suppose one other gracious reward from God (aside from a matured faith) that He brought to me, was that I had a solid week to come to appreciate and have more sympathy with those that society would typically consider "insane".

I am thankful the Lord brought you through such a dark time. :) That is one product of suffering or trials, when we come through them we tend to be much more sympathetic toward others.

Ugh... I hate darkness. Night all.
Night, Swan! Just think, if there was no darkness how would we see the stars? :)

I will say a prayer for him.

I hear you. Winter can be a big adjustment with how dark it always is. Soon enough there will be Christmas lights up everywhere to keep things bright :) Until then, sleep well!

The only time you send a text to break things off is when you're cancelling a second date. After seeing someone intermittently for months, you need to at least have the heart to pick up the telephone, although in person would be better.

Never thought I'd be treated like that. :|

I'm sorry Scraps. After months, that truly is spineless! You are better off without that kind of guy.
