Thank you! It actually happened last night, but I'm just now getting around to talking about it on here since I had to help my parents move things out one storage unit to another (increased rate, long story) anyway the original plan was to do that yesterday, but the engagement party had to be planned last minute. It's still a bit surreal and all.
We went out to our favorite restaurant here in town, and then a brief walk through downtown. I love food and that place, but I was sitting there the whole time thinking "Alright, let's finish this meal already." We got back into the car and I said "I have to get something from my parents tonight." I drive to their house, almost shaking in nerves. I was extremely nervous, even though I knew she was going to say yes. It was the longest ten minute drive of my life. All of our friends and family are inside, but not even my parents cars are in the driveway. At this point, everything seems longer. My parents driveway became a runway, their walkway turned into a nature trail. We get to the door and I'm a nervous wreck. I purposely, but kind of not purposely drop my key, and grab the ring out of my pocket as I kneel down to ask. She starts crying, and I'm not much of a crier, but I start to cry as well. From the video, it was only about a second pause, but it seemed like five minutes until she said yes.

Someone at work who hates my guts for no explained reason, who is frequently rude and spiteful, who will not say good morning, good evening, hello or goodbye, makes up childish lies and expects I won't find out the truth from others and tries to micromanage my behavior.
It's been a trial, to put it lightly. Her hate is clear, but when I confront her and ask her what exactly the problem is, she won't say. I only see this person for maybe 15 minutes total a week, but she seems to go out of her way to make those the worst 15 minutes there can possibly be.
Everyone else at the workplace seems to have had the same problem with her at some point.
