Define expensive? What is an average 1 bedroom apartment go for where you are?

I'm not entirely sure, to tell you the truth. I've got a full scholarship that covers the cost of my university owned apartment, so I've never had a reason to look around here. My girlfriend shares a 3 bedroom, 3 bath apartment near her college in Miss with pals & it's $1200. They've got a big pool, gym, other nice amenities, in a gated complex.

I'd say anything over $1000 a month for an average 1 bedroom is expensive.

One of the millions of reasons for short men to date/marry younger women. It helps to have a younger woman around when you are with other couples and the women are gushing about their taller partners in front of you. (depends on her age) but if she's the same age as you, you can then turn around and gush about the youthfulness of your partner. So if she lets her other female friends flirt with her taller partner you can let your guy friends flirt with your more youthful partner. Jealousy and sadness has a better chance of achieving equality.

Actually reminds me of a Honeymooners episode. Where Ralph and Ed are flirting with this younger woman at a couples party and Trixie and Alice are jealous. Sadly as a short guy I constantly have inequality thrown my way and it really is a help to have something that can even the playing field.
