I do not believe you...or maybe I need to go hide under a rock.

We all have something about ourselves that we dislike. I used to complain about how horrible my drawing ability was or how tall I am. The one could have been remedied if I had sought out someone who could have given me pointers. What I could hear of your voice did not sound like Urkel, it sounded like you have a solid voice. It's amazing what voice lessons can do. Even if we all sounded like Steve Urkel, we could still make a joyful noise.
Id take voice lessons, but I couldn't sit there doing that "Me me me me me me me" crud. ACK!

I wonder what I want to make with it....

Pizza? A fruit kolache? A bierock? A cinnamon roll? The possibilities are endless!

I just ate dinner, Gracie. Why must you tempt me with what sounds like very sweet cooking skills on your part at this time? ^_^

The Klobasneks are in the oven, and I have a precious little lump of dough left over.

I wonder what I want to make with it....

TACO POCKETS!!!!

What's a klobasneks? I vote for cinnamon rolls!

A klobasnek is a Czech sausage kolache: sausage wrapped in a sweet dough and baked. I just made a big pan of them, because they're very nice for when I take my lunches, or need something quick for breakfast,

Because it's an awesome piece:) Good music should do both in my opinion.

Its about the only classical piece I enjoy.

And about the only song in history that made me want to hear it in every form and instrument.

Its songs like that, that make me a music collecting junkie..... why I have music from every genre (Rap being the very lowest amount I own..... I feel pretty safe that Im not missing any "gem" in that genre.)

Always in search for that one song I never would have found if I stuck to my usual. Its lead me to have a phone with 12-4 thousand songs on it alone.

Hmmm...I might be able to suggest other classical pieces that you might like. I know some of the typical classical pieces are boring to some people, but there are so many really intense pieces. I do love classical and listen to it regularly, but I can see why some of it doesn't appeal to everyone. That being said, I think you might like Brahms Hungarian Dance 5. Especially the way David Garrett plays it. It is kind of a fusion of classical and rock. See what you think.

I like it better than the original Brahms, but still doesn't hook me like Canon.

I have something like 2,000 songs of classical. Covering Beethoven, Haydn, Schubert, Bach, Pachelbel.... etc...

Id be lying if I said I had listened to them all, but..... its the lull in tempos that just make me skip to the next. I love the instruments themselves.... but how they are played that either catch me or turn me away. Thats why I generally like classical/rock mix more than classical itself, because rock being mixed in, it almost has to speed up the tempo a bit... at least speed it up enough to not bore my ears (near silence in most pieces) and when it does hit the drop, its still got the sound of an electric guitar usually. Its not the build up that bothers me, its a build up to an almost anti-climactic drop off.

Classical still takes a great deal of talent, so my dislike of it is not on the heads of the musicians themselves.... just the style itself that up til now hasn't been my thing. I really want to like classical, it has potential, it just needs to be more like Canon I guess. Im not even sure why I love that one so much, I never could put my finger on it.
