SFJ: Just pray for him and love him is all I can tell you. My thoughts and prayers are with you, sis!
Moms go through a lot. She probably doesnt know what to do anymore and its probably causing her a lot of grief. I know I put my mother through a lot in my life. I turned around though, God can make all sorts of bad situations good. Sometimes it just takes time. Thanks so much,I especially dont think its right my mom doesnt even want to bother with him .
I take that as a good sign. You've made a good impression on him so far. He wouldn't say that to you otherwise. He obviously respects you and thinks that you are similar. I'd keep praying for him and sharing when you have opportunitiesJust had a Muslim whom I'm sharing the gospel with tell me "you're a Muslim, you just don't know it yet" because we agree on many points
Sorry my friend but I'm Christ's.
Soup's the best.
Yeah I took it in a good way too. After talking in person we txtd back and forth all night, until he said "cant txt any more tonight or wife will be angry at me"(it was late) haha.I take that as a good sign. Makes sense. That tends to happen after you try to do something positive and reach someone. It's happened to me a lot after sharing my faith with others. A thought to encourage you is that attacks come for a reason. They are designed to discourage you and stop you from being productive. They can make you second guess and doubt yourself. If you are getting attacked it's because you are doing something rightYeah I took it in a good way too. He's pretty wise and he's a lot older than me but when I showed that I knew a good amount of the scriptures and theological/philosophical concepts I got his attention.
Seems like Satan attacked me tonight however, which is not surprising if it was him... because I don't imagine he's pleased. Can't go into details and it's all seemingly done for now but yeah.

It sounds like you handled the situation well. I wouldn't worry about trying to disprove Islam or try to pick apart his beliefs ( not saying you did). I'd concentrate more on pointing him towards Christ. He's going to be won and affected by his opinion of you and the truth about Christ that you shared.

One bottle of absinthe, one bottle of rum, a Tennessee and a Japanese. The rest is Scotch.
You cruel man, hiding Johnnie Walker all the way back there. P.S., pick up some blue label for special occasions. I don't drink scotch much anymore, but I do love how smokey blue label is
The one on the far right? That's a 1960's bottling. Tastes enormously different to today's stuff.
I've got a couple of 20cl Blue Labels somewhere in there. One is sealed, one is a 2004 bottling (open). Never had anything from the recent batch, is it any good?

I've always wanted to try absinthe because of this scene...
