Cool :)

The new 10xx series are great. Especially on power. Big step forward for laptops though I will always prefer a keyboard and mouse for gaming personally:)

I remember when my old 1060 arrived. It was a beast. Near a foot long lol

Yeah my grandpa is mad at me. He's like, "You spent a thousand bucks just so you can have a light-up keyboard" :D I buy maybe a laptop every 1-2 years because of all the work I do on them and they rarely last, so I wanted something that was more sturdy, had more power/speed, would allow me to play games, but also do all the graphics and design work I do. This one had the best of everything I was looking for. Hopefully I can get 5+ years out of it.

Haha mine lights up as well. It's nice because I play games with all the lights off so back-lit keys are awesome.

Reds game just finished so now I have the D-Backs game on.

I do like baseball but I want my college football back already!

I'm such a purist that I stopped watching baseball this year because they changed the intentional walk rule. :| Besides, now that the three extremely long title droughts have all ended in recent memory, I feel much less impetus to watch.

Manchester. Shameful. Of course they won't just declare open war on us, because then they would have to fight trained men, and they know they can't handle that. Women and children are more on their level.

I'm not happy today. I'm trying to push it off but it's very hard to feel anything besides hatred.

Yeah I get how you feel. Hardly slept a wink thinking about this. How do you target young girls? Sickening.

No balls.

Can't get to The White House or Downing Street so they attack teenage girls on a night out instead. And then celebrate it.

Boys, it required ZERO effort!

To be honest, I wasn't really a fan of the ratings here at first, but now I like them. It saves having to create a whole post to just write "lol" or "I agree", and thus also a lot of filler posts that just say the same thing. On the other hand though, I wish they would bring back reps.

Got the new laptop today. It's a hassle transferring over all my music, games, and especially the thousands of word documents. Trying to determine which is the best way to do that. Either transfer them onto a external drive or save them to the cloud. Otherwise, I love this machine. It's super fast. Technology is so smart these days.

The points system of reps was unnecessary, but I did like the ability to comment. :)

I swear, if Donald Trump manages to serve a full four years without being impeached then MAD Magazine is going to have so much material because of him...

They all have enough material to last ten lifetimes. Stephen Colbert was losing the ratings war until Trump won. Now I think he's #1?

Every time Trump opens his mouth there's a scandal. Normally politicians get in deep trouble for their actions, not so much from their words.

What would y'all do in my position? I don't get paid in the summer as a sub, if I get hired between now and July, I'd effectively be working a month because I'll be out of town for essentially half of June either in Dallas or Haiti. If I get hired as a full-time teacher in August, there's a chance I'd have potentially have to take significant time off suddenly (my friend went on 6 interviews in 1 week when he was hired last August). I don't want to go back to working in restaurants, but I don't know who is going to hire me just for the summer.
