Yeah. At first I felt sorry for the guy since he is mentally challenged (although he's on the high end of that) then I heard from her that he's been harassing her for the past couple of days. He keeps on asking her out despite her clear wording that she has a boyfriend and then he pretty much says she should just cheat on him.

I don't know, sometimes it's nice knowing I'm not a girl. Most guys don't have to navigate life having to turn people down, and hoping they don't take it too far.

Holy water of Baptism. Wow. That's just...wow.

For that comment, you're getting an extra heaping of tuna on your waffles. Better than syrup!

I've been reading Foxes Book of Martyrs since last week. Since reading Tortured for Christ, it's been my goal to start reading more church history and other Christian books. One sobering thought that I've been pondering and that I thought I'd share is that the stoicism and courage that these Christian Martyrs exemplified during their deaths was the byproduct of serious commitment and devotion to Christ throughout their life. Since reading I've been thinking about aspects of my own life. It's convicting to realize that some die for their faith and I've allowed myself to be sloppy in some areas. That courage in the face of death doesn't just occur magically. It's so easy to get sloppy with our lifestyle and allow ourselves to be influenced by the world and live compromised. We can get lulled off into a very complacent faith. If we don't live wholeheartedly for Christ and take our testimony seriously, we have no guarantee that we could withstand persecution if it ever befell us. You can't die for a faith if you haven't lived it.

Those who don't do those things are the ones who are in sin, not you. The church is (supposed to be) not just people you go to when you're feeling good and everything's going fine, we're one. You don't escape from your own suffering, likewise the church shouldn't escape from yours.

Just be yourself.

Aw Wayholka, I don't think they are getting to erratic and you don't need to fix yourself. I understand that you are viewing this so differently right now.

But as I tell my boys, be yourself, be who you are in Christ, and if people can't accept that, or understand that then that's their problem.

TBH I see having Autism has a really great thing, my boys have taught me so much, they are them.

You have also brought so much too this forum Wayholka, I get the feeling you are use to people telling you that you are wrong etc and you worry that you are doing it on this site, but you aren't.

I think we all forget we're going to spend eternity with each other, loving each other deeply, and that we're brothers and sisters in God. There's power in those thoughts, mercy, forgiveness, grace.

If it came to mind I believe our words would be sweeter. I'm not taking sides because quite honestly I don't understand what was going through the minds of both sides, but I will say that in love I take both sides because I believe in the people on both sides.

Both her and Traveler's are gone now, whether it's temporary or permanent for either of them I don't know.

We lost two lights and friends. Let's hope it's just temporarily.

Well, that's just peachy. I really liked them, especially Traveler's Soul. I don't understand why people have to stir trouble and be mean people, and respectful. I guess that is a hard thing to do these days.
