My post wasn't even that political, but more historical. I always use history and facts to "argue". But we live in a world where feelings trump facts, and my reminder of a historical fact is offensive.Yeah, I've noticed this. I've had fb friends that regularly post jokes and memes that could be offensive to some on their friends' list and that's totally okay, but then they lose their mind when someone posts something that makes fun of their ideals. This is why I avoid fb posts concerning politics like the plague. I pick my battles. I'd much rather smack talk and poke fun at their favorite baseball team, lol.
It's always the ones that claim to be tolerant that do things like this. Says a lot more about them than it does anyone else.
When I wake up tommorow, I hope:
- Trump isn't on the 100 dollar bill
- Trump hasn't erected a statue of himself in D.C.
- D.C. isn't renamed "Trumpistan"
- A picture of Trump isn't on every wall in a building
- He Hasn't passed a law forcing all males to have Trump haircuts

I agree. I think most people do genuinely believe that they are open minded and tolerant. The problem is that many people spend most of their lives in small social circles and interact with others from the same background and mindset. They aren't used to having their opinion be the unpopular view. They think they are so tolerant because they are rarely in situations where this is being tested.I've noticed that too. Nowadays you have kids in middle school drinking can after can of Monster during classes. I actually heard that is some places you have to have ID in order to buy energy drinks in gas stations and convenience stores because of its popularity with young kids.
I tried a red bull before. I couldn't tell if I was tasting the drink or the caffeine itself. I don't know how people can drink several of those every day.
Redbull is low on the caffeine, lol.

Standard energy drink is about 160mg for 16 ounces.
A few years back they used to sell 380mg 16 ounce energy drinks. Sadly a lot of them are discontinued.
I used to be able to drink those and then sleep like a baby afterwards. Sadly I'm highly tolerant to caffeine.

Recently I started getting into 1920's Jazz music. It started as watching an hour long video on YouTube and ended up me buying a whole album of 60 songs for $11.00 (18 cents per song). Normally the songs I listen to are hard sounding and fast paced but I'm finding this aged genre to be rather relaxing and peaceful to listen to. This was the stuff my Great Grandfather jammed to during his teen years.
