Hmm........

Is it just me or is Hilary the only one running attack campaigns?

I mean don't get me wrong, I know both are worst case scenarios but I have only seen Hilary campaign ads attacking Trump.

Normally at this time I see attacks from both sides but I can't think of a Trump attack on Hilary ad....... maybe I just haven't watched enough TV or the right stations?

(Just saw a Hilary ad attacking Trump which made me think about it.)

Well. i dont know where God wants me today, apparently its not church in the morning.
Yea I get these times when God doesnt want me to go. Im like well what am I meant to do at home God?
I am going to an 80th for lunch though.

I just had the most incredible mental image of Hilary literally attacking Trump. Like both dressed as little lions circling around eachother on all fours and suddenly she lunges at his throat in a slow motion Lion King-esque scene.

My mind is a strange place.

Sounds like Hillary is getting desperate. They're polls are already on a razor-thin margin and the election is around two months away so now it's time to crank up the heat.

It's like that episode of South Park where they have to vote for either a giant douche or a turd sandwich. Except instead of a school mascot, it's the leader of the most powerful country in the world.

Plus I have never seen an election as heated as this before. Sure, during the 2012 elections there was paranoia, controversy and drama with Obama and Romney but this time... Man oh man... I've had a big admiration for the United States since my high school years and everything but right now I'm glad I don't live there. It looks like the American culture war is at a boiling point.

I try to have faith and keep my focus positive, but sometimes I need a boost. I try not to feel hopeless, but sometimes life circumstances make that hard.

When will I finally move on to something better? I'm ready for everything to change. I want God to answer my prayers and I don't always understand the reason for having to wait so long. I hope I'm not praying for something that will never be. Maybe God will help me and show me what His plans are.

I personally hate rap AND the Beatles. I also do not hate rap because of the reasons you gave.

I dislike rap because I don't see it as taking any musical talent. Yes, some forms of rap takes rhyming skills, but okay.... so what. I guess that makes Dr. Suess an "OG". IMO rap has done about as many favors to music as auto tune.

I don't see a "music" genre that got its starts by talking over beat tracks or by stealing (with permission because of money) someone elses song and talking over it as skill or music.

You may wanna be wary about calling people ignorant because they do not agree with your "musical" tastes. Especially when that genre you lean to tends to lead people to wear their pants around their ankles (generally speaking), thinking being "gangsta" is a good thing (generally speaking) and thinking that speaking in lazy English is an acceptable form of communication. "Ya hurd dat?" I mean those living in glass houses shouldn't throw stones is all I am saying.

If you like rap, then like rap, but don't get high and mighty or speak as if you are more enlightened..... especially when the genre you claim "gets the wrong end of the deal" is the current and has been the "popular" genre for decades....... you wanna know why people look at rap in such a light. Look who MOST rap lovers glorify. 2Pac, BIG, NWA etc etc..... I mean most people think hard rock and metal is about biting heads off bats.... (thank you Ozzy) but I don't blame the misconception when people of the genre practically worship Ozzy.

I like hard rock and metal........ but I don't claim people ignorant or unenlightened because they dont care to join me in a mosh pit. Its the insults and the insistance of "You must agree with me!" that causes the problems, not our individual tastes.

*sigh* Freestyling takes a ton of talent. Seriously..right now..I want you to freestyle for 5 minutes constantly with no breaks if it has no talent. I can't even do it well and I've practiced for years. Where's your rap album?! And a lot of successful music artists use auto tune..probably some of your favs too..

I think that's called sampling (though someone can correct me) and its not just talking..just like NASCAR is not just "driving in circles" its a LOT more than that..you have to stay on beat, and it has to flow well, etc.

I've seen a lot of rappers that dont do any of that. Some rappers such as Kanye West and 2 Chainz have even graduated college. Google that stuff.

Not all rap is 2Pac, BIG and NWA though! That's my point!! Holy crap!! Ok go to Youtube and listen to I Can by Nas..I found it positive..and I dont think theres a single swear..and what about all the Christian rappers?

Well I guess I dont care if people dont like rap..i just dont like it when people say stupid things about music in general. I see a lot of it on Facebook, Reddit and sometimes on here. It really baffles me. I don't think all rock is Marilyn Manson....so not all rap is Soulja Boy....does that make sense?

I regret making my last post now actually. I dont want this to turn into "rap sucks" "nuh uh no it doesnt homeslice" argument lol. But I guess discussion is cool. HIP HOP HOORAY!
