My friend made this on their FB, and he put my name on his middle finger. He said "These are all the people I pray for continually, and if I missed anyone you're the 'you' " I thought it was cool anyways.. lool

I'm not sure what to do. My Creative Writing class is going to get-together on the last day of class at night for dinner and after words they're going ghost hunting. I'm not sure I want to go, but my Instructor insists that I go. I would go for the dinner, but that's about it. I'd be a downer anyway. So maybe I'll just stay.

A local, well-known blogger who posted about his struggles with cancer died last night with his family around him. As per his instructions, his last blog post was put up for him by a friend. We awoke this morning to read his words in past tense; he told us if we were reading this now he was already gone, that the world was and is a beautiful and astonishing place that we need to stop and enjoy. He told us of his devotion to his children and his wishes for an abundant life ahead for them

And he closed his last post with this note to his wife:

You were my best friend and my closest connection.
I don’t know what we’d have been like without each other, but I think the world would be a poorer place.
I loved you deeply, I loved you, I loved you, I loved you​

His blog has gone viral and I'm glad for it. He had some profound words for all who found them.

Thinking about how I have heard people ask me why I listen to the music that I do. Lovers, family, friends, strangers you name it.

So I think...I don't listen music to feel real. I feel real without music and everyday that I exist and see the tragedy and beauty of life. The music I listen to and love, makes me feel alive and I simply want to jam out. Helps me deal with the tragedies and helps me deal with the beauty of life beautified.

And makes me want to get these long legs of mine moving, my neck moving, fists fist pumping because I am simply that cool.

Very good point - and it's a stoked-worthy thing! Just not a word I use terribly often. (along with: jazzed, pumped, hyped-up, etc)
Now, when my paycheck comes, I shall indeed be s---ed, yet again.

I so could of wrote most of that myself you definately are alone I don't think of it all the time but I do think about my weight as well most days I am fine where I am other days I think I like look like a whale and the mirrors there all over! It's so hard for me to take compliments too I just don't see what everyone sees because of all the flaws and I tend to think I will be alone for ever because of all the flaws I see and i'm not a super model i'll never be a skinny super model i'm just too big boned but I hope to find a guy one day who can see past that and love and care about both of us and I'm not sure i'm helping much I just wanted you to know aren't alone and every time I see your pictures they're always so beautiful infact i've never seen a bad one of you!

Ericka, I feel awful that all I can offer are some silly little words on the internet and a not-very-real hug. There is absolutely nothing I can put that will give you comfort because the issues you describe are far too complex. I'll wait for skype, or some other means of messaging since people round here have seen far too much of my weight talk .

I agree, it is amazing to get the thoughts off your chest.

It's amazing how great I feel after a good walk. Though walks are nicer with a fella, I love how peaceful (yet energized-I walk fast) it is and how much great thinking I do.
