My mind was focused on how yummy that Taco Bell was....Mmmm..And after reading this thread, its focused on praying for my family in Christ. We bear each others burdens, so I am here for you all who've made mention of some negative things going on in life.

Also on my mind:
OJ is delicious
Pandora, you such for letting me only have 40 hour so of music a week
Work was long, but fun
I want to talk to someone
Time to watch more Psych.

:D

- This morning, I found a mysterious scratch on my arm. It's not from the cat, and I don't recall anything at work that might have cause it. Hmmm...

- Now that I'm at work, I will need to speak with facilities about switching the outlets for a couple PDUs for our virtual reality center. After that, I will configure a new router for the help desk.

- The February issue of National Geographic has a fascinating article about dinosaur feathers. Apparently, scientists have found microscopic pigment sacs that indicate the color of a dino's plumage. Very cool!

- I'm thinking about attending the F-Body Beach Bash in Myrtle Beach this year. I've never been to Myrtle Beach, and the event makes it an even more ideal destination for a road trip.

- It was nice to have fruit with breakfast. I should do that more often.

I have to remember the beauty of self-censorship and not go so far as to make this thread my personal blog. I have a bad tendency to do that with the IJWTS thread and end up with a lot of deleted posts (with emoticon fillers) when I regret doing that. :D

Either my aunt's cat is a special case or I'm getting into a bad habit. I like to call her various names. It's fun for me and she doesn't seem to mind. She knows when I'm talking to her. I call her "Stalkerella" (that's the main name I have for her and it's because she follows us everywhere, all of the time), "Crack Head" (when she's being goofy), "Sassy Pants" (that one should be obvious), and I have a new one of "Miss Fluffy Butt" (she's at least half Maine Coon and has the long beautiful fluffy fur of that breed).

Thinking about how I do like this guy I'm dating, but I really have the feeling that something just isn't right. I'm praying about it, but I really haven't gotten any direction from God. I need to decide what to do. We've been only dating for like a month and he told me he loves me last Saturday. I do not love him, and I don't know if I ever will.

Maybe his definition of love is different? I know that many people use this word loosely, especially when they are in a relationship. Maybe, he means his feelings and thoughts of wanting to love you now and more so later? Does that make sense? I don't think that should scary you, cause it just seems that you are bit put back from it. Of course, if anything honesty is the best. Tell him how you feel and acknowledge that you want things to develop a bit slower then that, so that when the word is used, then its used with full meaning. And with that side- he would be crazy to not fall in love with you. :)

I'm thinking my brother said he would surprise me for lunch. Now I have no idea what he is going to get, but I am going to assume its Thai. It kind of better be Thai...betterrr be THAI.

Oh, just kidding. I love the kid and how he takes care of me.

I'm also thinking that I should not have put so much of that stuff on the floor to clean it....my head is dizzy from the fumes.

In all seriousness, I feel like I've missed a step somewhere....like I closed my eyes for just a second and when I opened them everything got switched around and now I can't find my way back...

I also have been thinking about cows...who was the person who said "You see those!? I'm gonna pull on it and whateeeeever comes...I'm gonna drink it."? Strangeness.

I'm thinking about starting a blog so I can refrain from using CF as a mind dump. But then I think about how I start projects and never finish. Or I have great ideas and never start. And blogging would just be one more failure moment I would have to remember and frown about. I don't need more of those.

I'm also thinking of how I can incorporate a box of crayons into an entire theme night for my childrens program at church next week. I am not creative enough for this kind of stuff.

Normally I would defriend an offensive person or one who has never interacted with me on FB, but it's trickier when they are family. So, I guess I'll just hide all posts of the offensive person and just deal with people acting like creepy stalkers who just watch you from a distance, but never actually talk to you. I have the feeling that I overthink things in general, and currently with FB in particular. Oh well.

You are kinder then I am. I defriend all of them who have done that and continue to do it. I'm very annoyed by that. Very annoyed by it. If you see a picture, comment on it, don't tell so and so things and then have it come around to me. Its very childish. I cannot tell you how many family members I have befriend because of that and when they tell me, I just tell them, "its cause you are nosey and talk to much!" :)

I have to get work done tonight. Themes, themes, themes. Maybe good solid two hours of work will take the guilty feeling away. I'm also going to have to get some tea cause I am cold, as usual. AND I want chocolate.

Ahem..

I just have to make an observation/comment before I hit myself with the front side of my hand yet again. It irritates me when I see comments on Twitter or any other social networking blah blah where mothers (and it's typically mothers who do this) go on and on about how hard it is to be a good mom and how great a mom they are and how other moms just aren't as great as them... Excuse me. Captain Obvious, thank you so much for posting how difficult it is to be a good parent, especially in this day and age. Truly, I thank you. Such an enlightening tidbit of info is sure to grant you some sort of prize out there in la-la land. Secondly, if you are indeed such a great mom, why (oh why!) are you on Twitter/FB/Myspace/whatever 24 hours a day posting your random ramblings when you could be playing with your children, reading to your children, cooking with your children, listening to your children... and the list goes on and on. Really, oh great parent, you? Really? You don't deserve mom of the year and even if you do, being a parent is a thankless job anyway, everyone knows that. But, it doesn't even matter because what you do as a parent and what you are as a parent mean so much, the last thing you think about (or should think about) is being praised for what should come naturally. I hope I never call myself a great or perfect mom because the moment I do, I'm right along there with you people. Actually, I might just be based on this rant of an observation.. Thirdly, oh nevermind. I'm just ticked.

The women on my FB who happen to be mothers (real mothers, shum on) do not post anything like this.. and thank God because I would never allow such feeds. Come on though people, post prayer requests or updates on what your kiddos do. I care more about that than someone praising themselves for being so amazing. Cuz you're not. Neither am I.

I'm on cf right now. I'm just as bad, if not worse.

I want to keep up with national and world news, but sometimes stories sicken me so much that I just don't want to know what's happening anymore.

ETA: Sure, I say that and then see a heart warming news story. :D

I don't feel good :(

:hug::hug::hug:

Prayers for you!

I don't belong there. I never did. I was never me there, and mostly, I was childlike. I cringe just thinking about it. Thank the Lord for helping me grow, not only in my faith, but becoming a bit wiser with age. Yet, I still have so much to grow, so much to learn, so much to be. But, still I don't belong there and I long too. I long to be with them. To be close to them, to be understood by them, to understand them. To have one of them. So it stands that I am still alone. Still, alone.

I rested today, so tomorrow, work! I have 11 days to turn in a draft. I cannot procrastinate anymore.
