The whole world is filled with atrocities, since the dawn of man, we've been destroying ourselves; that'll never change, and all of it is leading up to our final end with our Lord God (even I get angry about how we treat one another, but I still believe that even the most gruesome end we may meet [genocide or otherwise, like residential schools in my heritage sake] happened for a reason; and that was, and is, always for us all to see His glory).

But, there is a verse to contrast this with:

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high [places]. -Eph 6:12

So there appears to be two kinds of powers, those whom God ordained and those whom we are to tear down.

I agree with this, however I don't agree that any of this will come to a point of any fleshly war; these matters are best settled in the Heavens, and by our continued obedience to Yahweh and Yeshua.

Right, though I didn't mean to imply a normal kind of war. Herod was a prime example of this in Acts 12, in my opinion.

Must I choose a favorite? There are so many.

I'd have to say Girl Reading a Letter by an Open Window. I'm a slave to the written word. So this work in particular is very touching.

Yours?

Oh that is lovely!

The Milkmaid and View of Delft. I cannot wait to see the View of Delft. My art professor said, it looks like the water is real and you can actually touch it. I can only imagine. :)

Yep, and we both see how Herod was dealt with; through His hands, and the obedience of Yahweh from a prophet
