CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

For the last few days I have been thinking a lot about my life as a believer. How have I spent my time? How will I be remembered? etc.
I guess this has come about due to the sudden death of Jim Hellwig (The Ultimate Warrior), who collapsed and died at the age of 54. As a kid growing up I loved watching wrestling and he was my hero (outside of football). I remember recording every episode of WWF (as it was called back then) and waiting for his music to hit as he came out. It makes me smile to think of how my dad liked Hulk Hogan and watching WM 6 with him and seeing the Warrior beat him cleanly for the first time. Back then, Warrior was the WWF.
I watched the Hall of Fame this past week before WM (it's kind of a father and son tradition in this house lol) and was so pleased to see him get recognised for all he did for the business. You could see him beaming with happiness as his two little girls walked him out from the backstage. I also saw him the day after addressing the fans on a live show, only to find out he had dropped dead the next day back home.
I guess part of my childhood died when I heard the news. While I look back now fond memories of seeing him wrestle; and in some way wish to re-live that; I think more than anything it has shown me personally that life is short; and I need to live that time serving the Lord the best I can.

That would be so awesome. I've always wanted to get my pilot's license but it's so expensive to fly.

I feel so ignored today. No one is talking to me and I am now at my sister's house where I am still being ignored. I feel like nobody cares and I could just disappear.
