CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Actually I've refrained from arguing with them (waste of time, most of them just cuss and scream cis/white/male and offer no real substance) but yeah.. I do still read and cringe over their horrible blogs..

I like looking at the gifs and pretty pics but I don't read them. Once in a while, I come across some good info, and some horribly written ones.
Other times, I come across blogs (not tumblr) that are written in terrible taste. So bad that it's not even good enough to be entertained by.

Yes, this is the event that spurred many atheists to take note on feminism and begin to encounter it's ugly messages.
I remember this event well.
Sadly it's what eventually led me to discovering tumblr.

No, they're not all the same. There are many good blogs on tumblr. It's just a there is also a huge host of hypocritical feminist and social justice warrior blogs too.
