Wow, I almost made 500 posts in one month. That's about 6 thousand posts a year, I'll hit 20k posts in no time.

I have another month then I will have been here for a year.

A year of Toro annoying the locals, I have yet to see the villagers bring out the pitch forks and torches. :hoho:

Maybe I should go for a 7,000 post a year average.....:mmh:

Okay serious question. Please don't laugh at me.

I know how to make Armenian coffee, I have perfected the art since making it all my life. Now, American coffee (I don't know what else to call it but that) I'm not very good at it. Most of the time I get it from 7/11 or starbucks, so I don't know. And after the time I make it I feel like I fail.

Now with every two cups of water I put two table spoons of coffee in the filter. Am I doing this correctly? Do I use more or less? For me I feel like its still coming out a little watery. Maybe that just my taste? I don't know. I feel like I'm gonna waste coffee cause I want it darker. So anyone, how do you guys do it?

I got a nice coffee maker and my favorite coffees. I thought I start making it at home cause I will save way more money that way....

I should have googled this...

My mom always just dumped half a cup in with 5 or 6 cups of water. :sorry:

Ah, darn one says to check the manual, but I didn't get one cause it was the only one left in the display and I didn't get a box or anything with it. But I am putting in the right amount, but its still too watery for me.

That seems to come out to the same thing. I guess I'm doing it right, but I don't like the watery taste. Should I get a darker roast?
Or at least decrease the water amount to the tablespoon of coffee. I will try that.

I love how we all give coffee advice based on what our mother's do.

My mom uses 4-5 heaping tablespoons for a full pot (10 cups)

But I think that may still be a bit watery for you. Although most people around here think it's quite strong :D
Soo then I suggest you have fun with this guy: For best coffee taste, how much coffee should I use per Cup - Video Dailymotion ^_^ I love videos on funny topics like this. However if you find him annoying, I'll sum it up for you :)

- 2 levelled tbsp coffee/ cup
- Make sure to set your coffee maker at the strongest setting (if it has a setting)
- If brewing a whole pot, make sure to stir it at the end to even out temperature and flavour.
