Just because we're not calling, doesn't mean we're not thinking of you. It's just that we're terrible multi-taskers - (in general... Well, okay, ME) and if there's something that needs doing, then we can't just look past it.

I've been absolutely beside myself with infatuation before, and even that wasn't enough to pull me away from my work, to drop a text or make a call. I was far too focused.

So I'm afraid your quote is from an unreliable source my darling button mushroom. So don't read too much into your situation. There's a good chance he's thinking of you right now.
