I had realized that I was holding onto a guy that was not making me happy. There was an incident where I decided it was the last straw. I wasn't sure if he had been lying about who he was as a person or if he had compromised his beliefs.

Are you holding onto something that isn't making you happy?

YES! & I can't get rid of it! & I don't really want to!!!

I hate to say it but he was probably lying as a person. People lie to get what they want all the time. Compromising beliefs doesn't happen overnight.
