Did you know that the power of the gospel is to be an on going experience for you, throughout the course of your entire Christian life, and not only at your conversion?
Look at [1 Corintians 1:18 ] For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God
Are you being saved as you sit under the ministry of the gospel, or are you just attending church?
If we feel little effect of the gospel on our own souls, we will fear whatever we may say, we will surely fear the failure of the gospel in the world.
We will be ashamed. But if we ourselves are being transformed from glory to glory and that is the normative Christian experience under the ministry of the Word. Then we will say with Paul, " I am not ashamed. Look at my life. Come and see the saving power of God. Were not just talking about it.Were experiencing it. Come and see.
I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile.
