And as many as received him were grafted in. But today God is not found in Judaism. His law is not on their hearts. None of the promises of that covenant are seen there. You can ignore it but the Christians have brought the covenant of God to the world.

Messiah is of Judah. That's irrelevant to this topic. He was commissioned ONLY for Israel.

That harlot would have been the great city Jerusalem including its temple, and she was destroyed for her harlotry in 70 A.D. Jesus foretold her destruction. Jerusalem the great city: also called great harlot, Babylon, Sodom, and Egypt.

Jerusalem fails in many aspects.

Revelation 17:4 ...'And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication.' Israel nor any of its religious components wear red scarlet robes.

Revelation 17:15 ...'And he saith unto me, the waters which thou sawest, where the harlot sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.' ... So the waters represent the people and nations around the world. And if you sit upon something, then you are being supported by that object. So this is a church that has worldwide support from all different people and nations. Not something that Israel or Judaism has.

Revelation 17:2 ...'the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication.' Wine being the doctrines. Judaism is not the largest faith in the world. There is only two religions that hold sway over the nations of the world, and the non religious atheists' of communism. But since the harlot is "religious" with control over nations, it does narrow the playing field as to who Revelation is talking about.

Israel, while guilty of many things, is not identified by the above things that God revealed in Revelation as characteristics of the harlot. Revelation 17:5 ...'And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.'
