You people are all over websites, and they all laugh at you.

Yes, you can make your own decisions in life. That is part of the beauty of Christianity. The difference is that Christians choose not to do many things that the world sees as normal, having sex outside of marriage for example. Yes, it does matter. God wants us to make the choices that are pleasing to Him and not to sin.

Being laughed at really is of no concern to Christians...we are pretty used to it, and it isn't much of a revelation.

Christians telling unbelievers about Christ, on a Christian website, is giving us a horrible look ?

You can make all the decisions you want, as long as you follow the laws of the country you live in.
But when you decide not to follow Jesus, watch out for the consequences. We Christians didn't make the rules...we just tell you about Jesus so you can be saved as well.

Ha ha. My thoughts exactly. It's pretty much impossible to be a christian without getting scoffed at. Even Jesus Himself endured this.

People laugh at others all the time, that is life. Those who laugh tend to be immature no matter what person they are laughing at. It is very silly to laugh at people which is why it doesn't bother me.

As far as making the faith look bad. Yeah, well, that happens. If I go to a football site, the same thing happens there as well. The football fans tend to get all upset over silly matters and make the sport look dumb.

I used to be apart of a dog training forum and they too had their own problems which made dog trainers look stupid as well.

When you put people who have strong beliefs in one area ... there is bound to be some who will make the topic look dumb.

Being laughed at is no consequence to me, it is a small price to pay for eternal salvation and a relationship with the living God.

You have a choice as do we all, you can choose death or life. I have chosen life.

Your choice is yours alone but we'd be a selfish group of people if we didn't tell those who do not believe and have inadvertantly chosen death that there is a way to be saved and find life.

This does not follow. I have been a Christian for many, many years, and I have never (as far as I am aware) been laughed at for my faith.

I have shared laughter with people of many different faiths, but I have never been the object of ridicule in any way. Ergo, it is not, imo, an essential component of Christianity to have experiences of this kind.
