@Solomons Porch
I am 63 and wasted my life with what the scriptures write politely of as 'riotous living' -
a petty crim; a drunkard; a junkie; immoral and faithless; a womaniser;
BUT then I read a testimony printed out on a piece of paper stuck to an ex-kitchen door
in a shopping mall. AND then
But no, rather, I also count all things to be loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus
my Lord, for whose sake I have suffered the loss of all things,
and count them to be dung,
so that I may win Christ Philippians 3:8
DUNG > G4657 skoo'-bal-on > what is thrown to the dogs, that is, refuse (ordure): - dung.
My brothers, I do not count myself to have taken possession, but one thing I do,
forgetting the
things behind and reaching forward to the things before,
I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 3:13-14
Regardless of my past wrongdoings, I am a new creation in Christ Jesus.
My sins have been nailed to the cross, I am born again of water and the Spirit.
So that if any one is in Christ, that one is a new creature; old things have passed away;
behold, all things have become new.
2 Corinthians 5:17
