What would you tell yourself...........

This question is for those with a little age and experience in life, those people that have been there, done that and got the T-shirt. I am in my 40's, and I am interested in ANY wisdom given, I wanna treasure and make use of every day of my life to the fullest. What would you tell your 40 something-year-old self if you could turn back time? Doesn't matter what it is, or what it's about, what would you tell yourself? Are there any life changes you would warn yourself to make right now?

All I got for some of what I did , was no t shirt, it was handcuffs sometimes.
But honestly I really don't look backwards. Because back then I did not know the Lord
so even if I could go back, my old self would not listen to me anyway.
Wait till you get to be my age solo girl. I just hit forty five in march.
Your still far behind me at the young forty , should I say it..........okay four.

Oh, Lawdy I'm 44 you acting like you about to dissipate into thin air. See, I probably wouldn't listen to me either, I don't know if you know, but I am very very head strong, since birth. But that's the good news now, I'm in my forties and I'm ready to listen

What's a solo girl?
Hey, now you can take your life and keep others from wearing those awful bracelets. I used to be the one that put the bracelets on, so I've seen both sides of the bars.

Focus on relationships

1. God: the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit.
   • Scripture, Prayer, Worship, Fellowship
2. Family: Spouse, Children, Parents, Siblings, Grandparents, Aunts/Uncles, Cousins, ...
   • focus time, talent, and resources on each one according to their needs
3. Community: missions, service
   • volunteer helping homeless, hungry, foster parent

These are my initial thoughts. If I can add to this I will edit later...

That is the song of my heart for my 2 kids, they are grown, but its what I always want them to know. Thanks Mr O

I lost my oldest son a few years ago. I would tell myself to cherish every minute with the ones you love. Do not take your child's childhood or any memory of that time, small as it may seem, for granted. Hug them kids close, cherish the time you have with them. Also, I would tell myself to let my faith comfort me instead of pushing it away when I lost my son.

Regardless of my past wrongdoings, I am a new creation in Christ Jesus.
My sins have been nailed to the cross, I am born again of water and the Spirit.
So that if any one is in Christ, that one is a new creature; old things have passed away;
