What would you do if you didn't have a TV?

I haven't had the tv for some time now and I can honestly say I dont miss it, listen to the radio a lot and have learnt to play chess ( chessworld.net is a fantastic web site) plus a lot more reading particularly history, and time for all that odd jobs around the house.
As a previous poster put it, could I live without pc? I really dont think so.

i don't have tv b/c we don't have cable out here and i live in a valley so i can't get any channels with an antenna. thank God for the interent! we might get satalite TV in january but we still aren't sure. i kinda like living with out TV. we rent TONS of movies. movies are more educational anyways....

I'll confess that if I no longer had a t.v. I would read and meditate on the Bible more. I'd also read other books as well.

I was without tv for a long time this semester. I also had no internet access. I ended up reading a lot and listening to the radio and cds...I will admit I got many more errands accomplished than I would have otherwise. I painted my entire home and organized all my belongings....
But I sorely missed my satellite and I neeeeed it now!

Well since we don't watch TV anyway we'd keep on putzing around on the internet and playing games. For non-electronic-screen entertainment we like walks on trails and reading books.

So you have absolutely nothing to watch. No regular TV shows, nothing. What would you do?

I would definitely read more and probably play more video games, which I suspect will be the most popular answer besides going to the movies.

First, I couldn't live without tv. I don't have a cellphone, car, fancy clothes, and rarely listen to the radio except when it comes to cds and will crank it up more due to the holidays.

But I can't live without a computer and also I would read my scriptures and Christian devotions a bit more. But to be honest with you all, you all are much more braver than I will ever be!!
