What would you do if you didn't have a TV?

So you have absolutely nothing to watch. No regular TV shows, nothing. What would you do?

I would definitely read more and probably play more video games, which I suspect will be the most popular answer besides going to the movies.

I couldn't play any video games, seeing as I play on platforms. It'd be hard without a TV.

Read more and go outside.

We didn't have TV channels (no cable) for a few years and it was bizarre the reaction we got. People would be stunned that we hadn't seen xyz or the news even. Didn't really miss it. Enjoyed the videos and games. We still read a lot and have lots of family time, but with the cable it's nice to see what's going on in the world. The TV is not a priority in the house, it's a means of entertainment, but usually not the first, the kids get a book or game first and only TV when they've asked and gotten an ok.

Maybe visit one of my friends at his house more often (the one who has satelitte), but I'd work on writing stories and drawing drawings more. I wouldn't be too terribly heartbroken.

If my TV disappeared from the house, I would first dance with joy for a while. I loathe the TV on principle, even though I do watch it.

Without it, I'd read more than I already do, listen to music more, make better use of available radio programing.

well considering i almost never watch TV i don't think my personal time would be changed all that much except that I would have to find alot of other things to entertain my kids seeing as they are addicted to Nick Jr and I wouldn't be able to get my housework done because they would bother me for the two hours that i actually get to work...........so i guess my life would change alot after all.........Thank God for Blues Clues
