What were you doing in...1985?!

In 2003, I was 18 years old and in my second year of college. It wasn't a particularly great year for me. I was in the dental hygiene program. I just remember being stressed out with clinical practice/exams and a heavy course load.

2005. I was 24 and had recently moved back home to gather myself after 4 years of nonstop traveling. I was working at a car dealership, watching CSI, and dating my future wife.

In 1985, I was nine-years-old, so I was in the third grade then. That was a horrible year for me.
In 2007, I was 31. I was still teaching middle school, I had been Orthodox for one year, and I had been married for eight years at that point.

In 1985 I was being born so that's what I was doing, lol. In 1988, i welcomed my sister into the world. When we were little we watched carebears, zooblezoo and rainbow brite. Then later we moved on to rugrats, doug and ahhhh real monsters. We played in the woods, watched Clarissa, climbed trees and scraped our knees. Then when I was 12 i gained another sister and that was 96.

In 2008, I was finishing up my first year of being teacher and in a pretty low spot since I didn't fit in well with that particular school.

Sadly, in 2009 I was actually living a very selfish life, wasting a lot of time and regressing in many ways.

Happily, that is not the case today.

GOD I FEEL OLD!
In 1985 I was a private in the Army at Ft. Stewart, Ga getting well acquainted with the heat and humidity of the deep South.

Nah. When all your teeth have fallen out and been replaced by shiny new ones, when you've had joint replacements so those are no longer yours either, you keep calling your dog but the dog's been gone for like six years, and you've started leaving the car keys in the refrigerator.

Then you're old. Until then, enjoy being young.
