Go to your User CP, and switch the WYSIWYG posting interface to "ON".

Check it out.

2) A much faster forum.

3) Less frills, more content (hopefully).

4) A lesson I will never forget - ensure that you never backup the database onto the same hard drive as your data.

Hi Erwin, I couldn't find this WYSIWYG posting interface thing in my CP. I have gone to my options where I thought it would be, but I couldn't find it. Maybe I am over looking something?

Hi Erwin, I couldn't find this WYSIWYG posting interface thing in my CP. I have gone to my options where I thought it would be, but I couldn't find it. Maybe I am over looking something?

Go to your User CP. Once there click on your "Options" button.

Now scroll down to the bottom of the page to where it says:
Other Options

Right above where your avatar is there is a section titled:

"Use vBCode quick links on your message input screens?"

There are three options to choose from:

Do Not Show Toolbar
Show Standard Toolbar
Show Enhanced (WYSIWYG) Toolbar

Click to dot the last one and then hit the "Submit Modifications" Button at the bottom.

Then you can highlight a certain part of your post and click on different options such as bolding without tags.

Try it, it's really cool!

yeah, he's pretty busy, with all the work as well as trying to fix CF.. please remember CF in your prayers everyone, and don't worry, given more time, Erwin'll have the site running smoothly again.

All those things need to be recoded for the new version of the forum software... it may take a looooooong time... like I said before, let's just be a forums for a change.
