My 1st dog's name was Pete. My 1st cat's name was Foxy.

We had a fat cat who was very sweet - named Purr - and a small shaggy dog named Suzy.

Mother didn't like cats so I never had one until I was married. When we got back from our honeymoon we visited friends who had a mother cat with a litter. We were asked if we would pick out one. My friend said that the little tuxedo male was the smartest so we took him.

He was so little and loved to suck on my flannel shirt sleeve. He grew to be a fine cat and when we moved to Alaska we took him and our dog with us. I named him Blitzkrieg...which means lightning warfare. The two of the got along so well and never fought. They even slept together. Also because he had a white streak on his forehead that looked like a lightning bolt and he was fiesty. He made a fine pet who we had for about three years even after our first baby was born. We have had several kitties since then and presently have four, but I will always remember Blitz. That was over 40 years ago. Sniff.

My first pet was an Australian Shepherd named Pepper. She lived to be about 16. My mom had a small mix dog named Cinnamon. She was named Cinnamon based on her colour, and I think you can guess why we named our Aussie Pepper

I remember them all.

Before I was born my parents had a dachshund named Maggie that lived until the Orkin Man poisoned her food when I was 2.

When I was 1, we got a kitten named Keeper - she is still alive and just turned 19 this August.

For my fifth birthday I got a doberman puppy that I named Simba (this is before The Lion King mind you!).

When I was seven we got a Schipperke named Bear.

When I was 12, we got a labrador terrior stray that was living under our car. I named her Madison. My parents still have her.

When I was 17 we got a kitten that I named Beija. My parents still have her as well.

Last September I adopted a Keeshond puppy that I named Lambeau. And for Valentines Day, my fiance got me two turtles I named Crush and Squirt.

That is the extent of my pets so far, but I look forward to a lifetime more of pet pleasure!!

was a purebreed Dachsund whose official name was "The Duke of Cookhill Rd" named after the street we lived on. We called him Dookie for short :0) He was cute but crazy as could be!

Mr.Kitty everybody loved him,we think he got taken by our friends because they wanted him and he disappeared without a trace,he ate potato skins loved them.my first dog i remember is a purebred samoyed(sp) named Buddy who played so rough with cats that he killed them,and a purebreed beagle cant remember his namethey both jumped on our bus when it came to take us to school.
