Last few days I've been playing some rather obscure video games - The Diary of Anne Frank and The Elephant Man. I didn't even know they had made games out of these stories. Not sure they were good ideas. Most sad, depressing games I've every played. I think I need to take a break and have a drink or two.

The Last Of Us Part 2 Remaster. The PSSR implementation in this game is really good. The 1440P being upscaled to 4K surprisingly looks a lot more detailed than the native 4K option. Especially for distant objects like trees.

Hard to believe this game is almost 5 years old now. Despite what many others think.. I always liked the story overall.

Doom: The Dark Ages releases this week, Death Stranding 2, The Nintendo Switch 2 and Tony Hawk 3 and 4 remake releases next month. At least for me, it's a really exciting time for video gaming.

Yeah. Hoping the Switch 2 will be in stock. Although considering all the great PS5 games coming out I don't mind waiting a few more months to find a Switch 2 in stock.

Looking forward to the new Metroid Game and Mario Kart World specifically.

Switch 2 has an impressive first year line up. All the major titles look pretty good.

I'm the same. I have a huge back log of games so I don't mind waiting. I'm a couple hours into Mario and Luigi Brothership. Been enjoying it a lot. This might be my favorite version of Mario and Luigi as a duo.

I like alot of indie games on Steam, especially strategy games. Currently playing alot of Kings of Israel and Doorkickers as a break, in between watching videos on philosophy of human development.

Doom: The Dark Ages.

Fun game, but the game looks kind of blurry on consoles. Wish this game would use PSSR on the PS5 Pro. Seeing videos of this game on PC it's like night and day. Not a PC gamer, but the PC looks like the way to play if you have a good gaming setup. Hoping future patches makes the game look a little sharper in the future.

Expedition 33! I was intrigued by the hype surrounding it on social media when it released so I decided to check it out, and I’m surprised by how much I’m enjoying it. I don’t normally go for turn-based RPG’s, but this one pulled me in. It’s got beautiful character design and scenery, exciting fight mechanics, and a refreshingly novel storyline. I’m maybe a quarter of the way through after owning it for a week, which is a long way considering my busy life!

I just got a switch 2 finally it's coming in a few hours. Going to play Mario kart world with the wife and the new Pokemon Scarlet and violet patch for the switch 2. Should be a blast. Since my switch 1 isn't worth much of anything my wife and I are going to use it to play Scarlet/violet over lan and play together on her days off.

I completed two puzzle games: Lorelei and the Laser Eyes and Blue Prince. I wanted to like the latter more (in part because it has a unique board game element) but it turns out the former is the better game.

I haven’t really played anything in a while, to be honest. Video games were kind of our thing, me and my brother. We used to play Stardew Valley for hours. He’d do all the farming and mining while I ran around giving people gifts and decorating the house. It was just cozy and safe, and I haven’t quite been able to go back to that space since he passed.

But I’ve been thinking about trying something new. Infinity Nikki looks really beautiful and calming. I like the idea of a little open world to explore with cute outfits and soft music. Maybe that’s the kind of game that could help me ease back in.
